Yes, Harper's Haven accepts select insurance plans. Coverage varies by plan and clinician so contact us and we will verify your benefits before your first session. If your insurance is not accepted we offer private pay options and can provide a superbill for potential out of network reimbursement. Either way we will make sure you understand your options before you commit to anything.

Yes. Research consistently shows that telehealth therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy for most presenting concerns. Many of our clients actually find it easier to open up from the comfort and privacy of their own space. No commute, no waiting room, and no need to arrange childcare. Just you, your clinician, and the work.

Your first session is a conversation not an evaluation. We want to hear your story, understand what brought you here, and learn what you hope will be different. There is no pressure to share everything at once and no wrong answers. Most people leave their first session feeling lighter than when they started even if they were nervous to begin.
-
Yes. Everything shared in therapy is completely confidential. The only exceptions required by law are if a child's safety is at risk, if you share a plan to seriously harm yourself, or if you share a plan to harm someone else. Outside of these narrow exceptions nothing leaves the therapy room without your written permission. Your privacy is something we take seriously every single session

We ask that you provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice or missed/no show appointments without notice may be subject to a late cancellation fee. We understand that life happens and we handle exceptions with grace. If something comes up please just reach out as soon as possible and we will do our best to work with you.
-
Yes. Harper's Haven does accept Medi-Cal or Medicare. We accept select private insurance plans and also offer private pay options. If cost is a concern please reach out and we will do our best to discuss what options are available to you. We never want finances to be the reason someone does not get the support they need.

Honestly the best way to find out is to have a conversation with us. That is exactly what our free 15-minute consultation is for. No commitment, no pressure, just a chance to see if it feels right before you decide anything. If we are not the right fit we will tell you honestly and do our best to point you in the right direction. We would rather you find the right support than stay somewhere that is not working. Reach out today and let us figure it out together.
