Anxiety Therapy in Los Angeles and Online Throughout California

Feel Calmer, Think Clearer, and Live More Fully.

Anxiety can affect nearly every area of life, making it difficult to relax, concentrate, sleep, or feel present during the day. You may find yourself constantly worrying, overthinking about things, expecting the worst, or feeling overwhelmed. Anxiety can also show up physically through muscle tension, irritability, stomach pain, panic attacks, difficulty sleeping, or just feeling on edge.

Women with relationship anxiety may see their symptoms of anxiety show up in other ways. They may find themselves having constant worry about a partner's feelings, have a fear of losing them, or feeling unsure about their own worth.

How We Help

At Harper’s Haven, we provide anxiety therapy for adults, teens, and children who are struggling with generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), chronic stress, panic attacks, panic disorder, social anxiety, performance anxiety, health anxiety, overwhelming and intrusive worry, anxiety related to life transitions, and anxiety that shows up in relationships, school, when driving, social situations, parenting, or at work. Anxiety is one of the most common mental health concerns, yet it is also one of the most misunderstood. Many people spend years pushing through racing thoughts, a tense body, difficulty sleeping, avoidance, and the constant sense that something is about to go wrong, without ever getting support that actually helps.

Anxiety can look different from person to person. For some it is the relentless mental chatter that makes it hard to be present or enjoy the good things in life. For others it is physical, showing up as a tight chest, an upset stomach, shortness of breath, or an inability to relax even when nothing is technically wrong. It can look like people pleasing and difficulty saying no, overanalyzing every conversation, dreading situations that other people seem to handle with ease, or withdrawing from relationships and opportunities because the fear of what could go wrong feels too loud.

In therapy, we will take time to understand the root causes of your anxiety, including past experiences, relationship patterns, and the core beliefs that keep the cycle going. Together, we will identify unhelpful thought patterns and the behaviors that reinforce them, and build practical, personalized coping skills that go beyond just deep breathing. Drawing on approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness based stress reduction, and somatic techniques, your therapist will help you respond to anxiety differently rather than just managing it in the moment. Over time, this work supports a deeper and more lasting sense of calm, confidence, and control.

You do not have to keep living in survival mode. Whether you have been dealing with anxiety your whole life or it has intensified during a specific season, therapy can help you move beyond constant worry, reduce panic, quiet the noise, and begin feeling more grounded, more confident, and more connected to the life you actually want to be living. All sessions are available online in English or Spanish, so support is accessible wherever you are.
